Hetauda, Aug 18: Six persons have been injured in a road accident occurred at Jurikhet of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6 along the Kathmandu-Hetauda roadway today.
A vehicle (Province 3-01-002 Jha 5183) heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu fell some 60 metres down from the roadway this morning.
The injured ones are Gokarna Dangi, 57, of Tulsipur Sub-metrpolis-9; Tara Datta Badu, 51, of Dasharath Chand Municipality from Baitadi; Badu’s spouse Laxmi Badu, 49; his son Ritendra Badu, 31; another Rita Badu, 31; and driver Chhuni Lal Chaudhari, 32, of Rapti Municipality-8 from Dang, according to spokesperson at Makwanpur District Police Office, Madhav Raj Kafle.
Among the injured ones, Laxmi Badu is in a critical condition, while others are normal.
Dangi is chief judge of Parsa High Court and Tara Datta Badu the registrar.
A police team reached the incident site immediately after it received information on it. The injured ones have been sent to Bhimphedi Hospital for treatment.
Investigation into the incident is underway, according to the police.
