Kathmandu, Aug 18: Nepal ‘A’ cricket team has left for Australia to take part in the Top End T20 series. The team departed for the series last night.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Sunday saw off the 15-member team going to Australia to play in the series. This time, Nepal will compete in the series under the captaincy of Anil Kumar Sah.
Starting from August 21, Nepal ‘A’ will face Northern Territory Strike in their first match. Similarly, Nepal will play against Bangladesh High Performance on August 22, Hobart Hurricanes Academy on August 24, Australian Capital Territory on August 26, Hyderabad Kingsmen Academy on August 27, and Victoria CA-11 on August 29.
According to CAN, while in Australia, Nepal ‘A’ is also scheduled to play one-day practice matches against New Zealand ‘A’, Tasmania, and South Australia.
