Kathmandu, Aug 16: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives and property in the earthquake occurred in Flores, Indonesia.
Reminding that Nepal knows well the pain and sorrow caused by the disaster because it has suffered the calamities like earthquake, Minister Khanal took to a social networking site and expressed solidarity and sympathy to the Indonesian government and people at such difficult time.
“Nepal government and Nepali citizens have expressed condolences to the bereaved family members in Indonesia and extended speedy recovery to the injured ones,” Minister Khanal stated in the X post, wishing safety of all and rescue and rehabilitation of the missing and displaced ones.
