Bajura, June 27 : Two persons including a ward chairperson were killed when a jeep (Se 1 Ja 999) skidded off the road and fell some 500 meters at Pipalsaina of Tribeni Municipality, Bajura on Wednesday. At least five people were injured.
One of the deceased has been identified as Khama Nepali, ward chairperson of Tribeni-1, while identity of another is yet to be known.
The injured-including Bir Bahadur Shahi, Bhim Nepali, Rupendra Shahi, Dhan Shayam Buda and the driver Chandra Mani—were rushed to Bayalpata Hospital, Achham, said the police.
