七夕节,又名乞巧节、七巧节或七姐诞,发源于中国,是华人地区以及部分受汉族文化影响的东亚国家传统节日,在农历七月初七庆祝。来自于牛郎与织女的传说。由于古代女子希望以织女为榜样。所以每逢七姐诞,她们都会向七姐献祭,祈求自己能够心灵手巧、获得美满的姻缘。这是中国传统节日中最具浪漫色彩的一个节日。
牛郎织女的传说:牛郎父母早逝,常受哥嫂虐待,分家后,只分到一头老牛。有一天,牛郎看见仙女们在水池沐浴,老牛就告诉牛郎,让他偷偷地拿走织女的衣裙。仙女们沐浴完后穿好衣裳都飞走了,唯独剩下了找不到衣裙的织女。这时,牛郎现身并恳求织女做他的妻子,织女答应了。婚后,小两口男耕女织,相亲相爱。后来,老牛死的时候,叮嘱牛郎要把它的皮留下来,到危难时披上,可助他一臂之力。
不久,织女和牛郎成亲的事就被玉帝和王母娘娘知道了,他们勃然大怒,并命令天神抓回织女。牛郎回家不见织女,急忙披上牛皮追去。眼看就要追上了,王母娘娘拔下头上的金簪一划,现出一条银河,将二人隔在了两岸。从此,牛郎织女只能隔河相望。后来,玉帝和王母娘娘被他们的真情所感动,允许他们每年见一面。于是每年的七月初七夜,喜鹊搭桥,有情人相见。
