‘The Way to Heaven’, a documentary exposing the Hindu tradition of cremation is going to participate in Toronto Film Festival in Canada in coming September, 2017.
This documentary was directed by Mr. Youbraj Adhikari and the producer is Mr. Sandip raj Raut. The theme of beautiful life after death after being cremated in holy premise of Lord Pashupatinath has been realistically shown in the documentary. People desire to be cremated in the Aayaghat with the hope of place in Lord Shiva’s dwelling after death.
The frame work and concept was prepared by Mr. Adhikari, who is also the director of a post production house, Focus Movie and Music Pvt. Ltd which has been working in the field of documentary, film, advertisement making for 12 years and it is solution to all kinds of holy, tourism, social and business promotion audio visual works.
“Today, we have become successful to make this documentary able to compete internationally and this is the outcome of our age’s long experience, dedication and hard work. Although it’s yet to know whether we will get victory or not, I am sure it will give something new in the field of documentary making” says Director of the documentary Mr. Adhikari. The Script Writer and Narrator of this documentary is Ms. Akata Bhandari and Production Manager is Nara Bahadur Katwal.
This documentary is supposed to become a milestone in the field of documentary both nationally and internationally. It is definitely the most hopeful creation to reflect Nepalese culture, tradition and belief worldwide in a true sense.
