Tulasipur Jan 18: A child died in a road mishap at Parseni in Dang district Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Shantaram Chaudhary, 13, of Bankatta in Tulasipur-6.

The child died after an ambulance heading towards Ghorahi from Tulasipur carrying a patient hit the child, according to the Area Police Office, Tulasipur.

Police said that the child had gone to see dance performed on the occasion of Maghi festival. Police have arrested the ambulance driver and also impounded the vehicle.
