Kathmandu, Dec 12: Vice-Chairman of the CPN-UML, Bam Dev Gautam, has said the Nepal-India relations must be run in a new manner.

Inaugurating the seventh convention of Banke-Kathmandu Liaison of the party in the capital city on Saturday, Vice-Chairman Gautam complained that India failed to become a good neighbour while treating with Nepal.

“Although India has not announced the border obstruction as blockade, it is a blockade and has been obvious to all,” he said, arguing that India’s protection to Madhesi leaders at Dasgaja was the reason behind the obstruction and agitation in Madhes.

On the occasion, standing committee member Chhabilal Bishwokarma, politburo member Yam Lal Kandel and others wished success to the convention.
