DPM Rawal opines for opening Taklako, Tinker borders with China

Dhangadhi, Nov 21: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Bhim Rawal, has said that the government was working to open the Taklkot border transit in Bajhang district to ease trade with China.
Talking to office bearers of Kailali Chamber of Commerce in Kailali today, DPM Rawal added that the government will make effective plans to narrow down poverty levels in the country.
He added that he would further initiate to open Tinker border point of Darchula district as well.
DPM Rawal said that the blockade was imposed to weaken national unity, sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
On the occasion, Kailali chamber of commerce chair Shanakr Bogati submitted 11-point memorandum related to the development of Far-West Development Region to Minister Rawal.
The memo urges for developing FWDR as Special Economic Zone (SEZ), establishing dry port at Dodhara-Chandani, construction of Seti Highway and Khutiya-Dipayal road section and establishing quarantine check post at Gauriphanta border point, among others.
