NATAS Travel Fair concluded with a very positive gesture from Singaporeans and other international visitors. The three day consumer fair organized by National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS) was kicked off on July 31, 2015. Nepal Tourism Board(NTB) along with the support of Honorary Consulate General of Nepal to Singapore and Honorary Public Representative of Nepal Tourism Board successfully participated in the largest tourism consumer fair in Singapore.
Nepal’s backdrop at stall was a mix of theme on nature, culture and adventure. People coming to stall were very inquisitive about Nepal. ‘How is the country and people?’ was the question asked by many Singaporeans. They were happy to know that post quake country is already welcoming tourists; places of tourists interest are safe and most of the monuments are still standing and rest are rebuilding. With Silk Air directly connecting Nepal from Singapore and other airlines like Thai and Malindo Air having better connection Nepal is preferable destination for Singaporeans. Nepal’s promotional endeavor was covered in many online and paper remarkable among them is TTG.
Honorary Consul General at Singapore Mr. Madhusudan M. Patel and NTB Honorary Representative at Singapore Mr. Narayan Bahadur Shrestha actively were present throughout the fair and answered queries of people coming to stall. NTB was represented by Mr. Sudhan Subedi, Officer and Mr. Suman Ghimire, Officer.
